Platinum Games, game developer for Metal Gear Rising and Bayonetta 2 interesting to buy the Darksiders IP. Unfortunately, the Darksiders didn't make a sale on THQ IP and studio auction yesterday.

Atsushi Inaba, Producer of Platinum Games said on his twitter:

"Darksiders seriously didn't sell at THQ's studio and bulk IP sale? I want to buy it... if it was cheap."

Haydn Dalton, Lead Designer of Darksiders Franchise said on his twitter today:

 “There was a shimmer on a slither of hope, that at one point, there’d be a Darksiders III: 4 Player Co-Op; It rode off into the sunset today.”
